Shoes along with Arthur Zwane and Scara Ngobese held a Christmas Party at the Noah’s Ark centre in Midrand outside of Johannesburg which cares for children who have lost their parents through HIV/Aids.
A large number of the kids at the centre are themselves sufferers of the dreaded disease; the Redhill students have adopted the centre as a social project.
Shoes, who was at the centre with the Redhill Students for the party held on the 1st December which was International aids awareness day said: “I was touched by the good work done by Red Hill at the centre and in our small way we wanted to show our appreciation to them and bring them to watch a game. Our country is a diverse one and it is heart warming to see when people cross various barriers to reach out to each other.”
