Kaizer Chiefs have added midfielder Ntokozo Sikhakhane to the injury list after the midfielder picked up a hamstring injury in Chiefs 2-1 Coca Cola Cup victory over Classic.



Sikhakhane was substituted at half time by David Mathebula after complaining to Chiefs Doctor Phil Maepa during half time that he was in pain. It is believed he will be out of this week’s matches against Classic and Pirates and will return to training in a week’s time. Goalkeeper Emile Baron has also been complaining about a hamstring problem which he is believed to have picked up in the warm up before Saturday’s game, he will be back at training on Tuesday afternoon.



Meanwhile Rowen Fernandez has begun training with the rest of the goalkeepers and the goalkeeper coach believes he will be 100% fit for Saturday’s game against Pirates. Added to the list of recoveries is Ivorian Serge Djiehoua who is making a speedier recovery than expected, the Ivorian who

underwent a knee operation two weeks ago is expected to be out of action for six months.



On Monday he turned up at training without the assistance of crutches and the swelling on his calf and knee visible over the past few has all but disappeared, the clubs medical team had expected him to be using crutches for at least two months.
