The winner of the KC Couch competition will be joined by Ramahlwe ‘Rama’ Mphahlele on the Best seat in the house for Saturday’s home game against Free State Stars at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium.
The winner of the KC Couch competition will, as usual, be able to invite two friends. They will furthermore get a VIP treatment by Chiefs.
“They must just relax and have fun,” says Mphahlele, who is recovering from an injury. “They must feel at home and they can ask me any question about the game or the team.”
The KC Couch has become a phenomenon at Amakhosi’s home games at Moses Mabhida Stadium. The couch, otherwise called the Best seat in the House, is positioned on the eastern side of the pitch.
“I am looking forward to sit with three of our supporters and watch our Free State Stars game from the comfort of the couch,” says Amakhosi’s right-back, before adding, “I will have some questions for them as well, because I always wanted to know what it feels like to be a supporter. I want to know how they think and what they expect from us for every game. It will be an exciting experience.”
To stand a chance to sit on the KC Couch during Saturday’s clash with Free State Stars, supporters are urged to SMS ‘KCCouch’ to 45905 (at R1.50 per SMS). The winner will be informed on Friday afternoon.
