Zimbabwe, who was captained by Chiefs hardman Tinashe Nengomasha, came back with a bang in the second half as former Chiefs marksman, Knowledge ‘Smiling Assassin’ Musona grabbed a quick brace reminding the South Africans of his quality that earned him a move to Bundesliga.
Other Chiefs players who featured for Zimbabwe on the evening were Lincolin ‘Harare’ Zvasiya, Willard ‘Cheese & Onion’ Katsande, Thomas ‘Uyindoda’ Sweswe, and Jimmy ‘Jambo Jet 747’ Jambo while George ‘What’s Up’ Lebese earned his second cap when he replaced striker Bradley Grobler in the 85th minute.
The six players are expected back in the country on Wednesday afternoon as the Glamour Boys prepare for a tricky Absa Premiership tie against Santos at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday evening.
