Kaizer Chiefs will host arch-rivals Orlando Pirates in the semifinals of the Telkom Knockout.
This follows a draw conducted live from Free State’s Goble Park Stadium, post Mamelodi Sundowns crushing Free State Stars 6-1.
Chiefs advanced through thanks to a 2-1 win over high riding Mpumalanga Black Aces, while Orlando Pirates beat Maritzburg United 2-0 in the quarterfinals.
As a result of this draw, the Soweto Derby will be played back to back, because Chiefs host the Buccaneers already in an Absa Premiership fixture on Saturday, 31 October.
In the other semifinal, Mamelodi Sundowns will host SuperSport United in a Tshwane Derby.
The match logistics for both fixtures will be announced once the PSL Competitions Committee has made a determination. The games will take place on 7 or 8 November.
