Tlou ‘Spanner’ Molekwane has told kaizerchiefs.com that he can’t wait for the league program to resume having fully recovered from the broken toe injury that kept him out from mid-October 2011.
The hard tackling right back played 90 minutes on Monday in a reserve fixture against Bidvest Wits at Eldorado Park Stadium.
“It was good to be back having spent time on the sidelines. It was tough but I like to believe I did my best against Bidvest Wits.
I have been working hard at training and I have no doubt I will be raring to go when the league programme resumes middle of February,” said Molekwane after training session on Friday morning.
Molekwane said he wants to stay as ‘injury free’ as possible when he gets a chance to play; “It is frustrating that every time I get a chance to play I get injured.
This year I want to stay injury free. When I get a chance I want to cement my place in the team. I believe I can do this because I give it my all at training.
The Seshego-born added that all has been well at training; “We have been working hard. We all enjoying it and the mood is as high as ever.”
