“We ask our fans to be a little bit more patient when it comes to the launch of the new Supporters Club Card,” says Tracy Williams, Kaizer Chiefs Supporters Structures Manager: Retail, Branches, Supporters.
“It’s important that we look at the bigger picture, taking into consideration a few factors. It’s crucial that when the Supporters Club Card is launched that it will be a game changer for Kaizer Chiefs.”
“We really want to give our supporters the benefits of a transactional card,” adds Williams, “to ensure that the provider we select is able to deliver exactly what our supporters want and need over the long term.”
Williams also stressed that supporters who have already paid for their membership have to know that their money is safe: “We have a full record of all these members and when we are ready to launch, they will be first to get your membership cards.”
