The Club has spoken, the Coach and his players have also spoken and now the supporters have also come out to condemn the booing of the players. Booing of the players ‘reared its ugly head’ again when Kingston Nkhatha was booed during the Soweto Derby last Saturday, 26 October 2013.

The Kroonstad Branch has taken the lead to come out and apologise to the Club for the behaviour of the supporters during the Soweto Derby. They have pledged their commitment to Anti-Hooliganism in sports.

The Branch has vowed to uproot the booing if it happens from their members and have encouraged other Branches to do the same. Branches such as the Bloemfontein Branch and the supporters in their individual capacity have also given their support to stop this syndrome that has no place at the stadium against their team. Booing of a player affects the whole team.

Kaizer Chiefs will continue to reason with those that still believe the booing is the way to go and similarly continue with its endeavours to create a memorable match day experience for the fans at the stadium.

Love and Peace!
