Kaizer Chiefs skipper Jimmy Tau hinted that he might be back to full fitness in two weeks time. This is after the hard working captain suffered a meniscus in his knee forcing him to watch from the sidelines for the past seven weeks.

“I have already joined my teammates at training following rehabilitation on my knee. I should be ready to return in two weeks time,” he told the media at the prematch press conference at Absa Stadium on Monday afternoon.

Jimmy warned his teammates not to read much to the Saturday’s result that saw Manchester City losing against Orlando Pirates.

“It is a different ball game all together and we can’t read much on it. We are all looking forward to the prospect of coming up against Manchester City. We are hard at training preparing for this game.”

“It is good to see our fans already here to watch the games and I am sure the game will be played in front of a wonderful atmosphere at a ground where we always do well against any opposition,” added Tau.
