Tau was rushed to hospital on Saturday after injuring his left ankle during the goalless draw against AmaZulu at Soccer City Complex.

“The operation went well and Jimmy will be out for the next three months. He will wear a plaster cast for the next six weeks and thereafter, he will start rehabilitation,” said Milner on Sunday evening.

Tau joins defender Thomas Sweswe, striker Lucky Khune, and rightback Tlou Molekwane who are all recovering from various injuries.
