The Captain missed the two outings against Bloemfontein Celtic and Amazulu respectively as he was given time off to focus on his exams. Before that Jimmy Tau had played every minute since the beginning of the 2008/9 campaign.
“I am glad to be back with the boys having finished exams last week. The guys have been doing very well and what is important is that we managed to collect maximum points in our last two games. It is important that we continue on that note,” he said.
Jimmy is aware that he has to fight for his place, “It is how football is, there is no doubt that I will have to push harder to win the starting berth in the team”, he said.
Jimmy believes that the game against Supersport United on Wednesday is as important as the Soweto Derby on Saturday.
“Three points is very important at this stage of the season it does not matter who the opposition is, we have to go all out and keep the winning momentum”, he said.
“Taranga” told kaizerchiefs.com that he and his teammates are looking forward to what promises to be thrill-a-minute encounter against ‘wounded’ Supersport United who were knocked out by Bloemfontein Celtic last weekend and what promises to be a nail butting encounter against archrivals, Orlando Pirates on Saturday.
“Supersport United first then, Orlando Pirates” he concluded.
