Kaizer Chiefs in its entirety have expressed gratitude to their faithful Supporters. The Amakhosi Faithful continue to demonstrate their undying support for their beloved Club, the matter that has gone well with the Team. The support has been noticed by the players, Technical Team, Management and back room staff alike.

"The players have expressed their appreciation for the support that they have been getting everywhere they are playing. The results are there to show that when we are united as the Amakhosi, we can live up to our reputation and culture of winning," said Corporate Communications Manager Vina Maphosa.

"The supporters have not just been flocking to the stadium, we have seen raised energies of cheering the players during the match. Remarkably, the supporters have been well behaved and we have seen sporadic and minimum booing actions at the games, and for that we would like to thank the supporters," commented Vina.

Kaizer Chiefs will look to continue their impressive home form in the Absa Premiership when they host Ajax Cape Town at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday, 19 March 2014, kick-off at 19h30.

Our social networking continues to set the trend with the recently achieved milestone of 1million likes on our Facebook page (/kaizerchiefs). We will continue to search for innovative ways of engaging with the supporters. Thank you to every one especially the Supporters Club Branches who have been playing a massive role in our activities," added the Marketing Director Jessica Motaung.

"I only missed one game last season and finding myself on the other side of the game has been strange. But one thing I have experienced watching from the stands, is the passion from the supporters that rubs off to the players on the pitch. I am happy to experience the role the supporters are playing from the stands. I would like to thank the Supporters and wish that we can continue with this unity until the last whistle of the season," said Khune who expressed satisfaction at the progress he has made in his recovery from injury.
