Essellen Street in Sunnyside in Pretoria was in standstill on Saturday as the Club in conjunction with main sponsors, Vodacom took the Amakhosi Festive Vibe to Sunnypark Mall.

The roadshow in the colorful neighborhood of the capital city followed a series of activations hosted in Pretoria since Thursday, 02 December 2011.

Once again the supporters turned up in big numbers despite the searing heat in Pretoria. Those who attended did not leave empty handed as there were lot of giveaways, from t-shirts, Kaizer Chiefs hampers and Vodacom products. Both parties, Kaizer Chiefs and Vodacom might have been pleased with the response from the people of Tshwane.

Joint MC’s, Klaas Mokoena and Vuyo ‘Rasman’ Nyusela were again on hand and kept the gathered crowd including players in stitches with their sense of humor.

Defender, Dominic ‘Domza’ Isaacs who together with his teammate, Tlou ‘Spanner’ Molekwane was in attendance got an opportunity to sign autographs and got to mingle with the adoring fans.

“It is always nice to take time as the Club to give back to the community. Our supporters are the most important stakeholders and through this initiative we want to show them that we appreciate their support. The fans continue to support us despite going through a rough patch and this we appreciate as players,” said Isaacs who will miss the trip to Loftus Versfeld on due to suspension.

Both players had to rush to Pretoria after grueling training session at Kaizer Chiefs Village; “I am finished as I am speaking to you (kaizerchiefs.com). We trained this morning and it was very hot and immediately after that we came here. I am not complaining though as we had fun here interacting with the supporters and the sponsors.

Molekwane was equally delighted with the opportunity to spend time with the supporters; “It is when you attend such initiatives that you see how special it is to be associated with such a big brand. The fans still believe in us and I have no doubt that the guys are going to turn up in numbers on Sunday when we take on Mamelodi Sundowns in their own backyard,”

The Amakhosi Festive Vibe will continue during the month of December. The supporters stand a chance of winning big and there will be once again opportunities to meet and greet the players and Club officials.
