The Amakhosi were back in full training on Tuesday morning under a watchful eye of Head Coach, Vladimir Vermezovic following the African Cup of Nations qualifiers that saw almost ten players were involved with their respective national teams.



Siphiwe Tshabalala (stand in captain), Itumeleng Khune, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Bernard Parker, Lehlohonolo Majoro (on the bench) were involved in the Bafana Bafana v Sierra Leone while Tinashe Nengomasha, Willard Katsande, Thomas Sweswe, Jimmy Jambo (on the bench), Lincoln Zvasiya (on the bench)were involved in Zimbabwe v Cape Verde.



Absent at training was goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune, speaking to kaizerchiefs.com Bobby Motaung said; “Itu (Itumeleng Khune) has injured what appears to be his back. He travelled to Bloemfontein together with Siphiwe Tshabalala, Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Lehlohonolo Majoro to join the team for Macufe Cup on Sunday afternoon.



“He is currently undergoing a scan to determine the extent of the injury. We should know more about it this afternoon. We are confident that the player will join the team on Wednesday morning.
