Kaizer Chiefs will be chasing for their 250th PSL win when they host Golden Arrows at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Tuesday, 06 November 2012.

A goal from the late Thabang ‘Banda’ Lebese against Jomo Cosmos gave the Glamour Boys under the tutelage of then Coach, Jeff Butler a flying start in the Premier Soccer League when it was launched during 1996/1997 season.

Chiefs who are on top of the Absa Premiership currently have since that historic evening notched 249 wins in the league in 512 games. 721 goals have been scored while 164 games have ended in a draw.

The game against Manqoba Mngqithi lead Golden Arrows promises to be a thrilling encounter between the two sides that play an impressive brand of football. Arrows will be going into the game on a high after the return of Mngqithi who had a successful spell with the team plus having recorded their second win of the season last week when they beat Chippa United by 2-0.
