The Absa Premiership clash had to be called off earlier this month after 23 minutes of play due to bad weather but it does look like skies have since cleared up in Pretoria in anticipation of the clash on Wednesday night. Kick off is at 19h30.

Head Coach, Vladimir Vermezovic speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Tuesday revealed that the players have put the disappointing result against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday behind them and everyone is focused on the next game.

“We have put the game against Mamelodi Sundowns behind us and we are now focusing on the game against AmaZulu. The players were all disappointed with the result in Durban but the most important thing is how you pick yourself up and move forward. We did not play badly against Sundowns but we were unlucky.”

AmaZulu have been getting results lately and we expect them to double their efforts when we meet on Wednesday. They have good players and a good Technical Team so we are expecting a tough game. On our side we would like to win it for our supporters who have supported us through thick and thin this season,”

Meanwhile, Chiefs have been boosted by the return of flying left back, Jimmy “JJ” Jambo who missed the trip to Durban last weekend as he was serving a one match suspension.
