2014 Nedbank Cup Last 16
Kaizer Chiefs v FC Buffalo
26 March 2014, 19h30
FNB Stadium
The defending Champions Kaizer Chiefs will host FC Buffalo in the defence of their Nedbank Cup trophy. The Last 16 clash is set for FNB Stadium on Wednesday, 26 March 2014, kick-off at 19h30.
The approach
"We have just returned back from the DRC to play in a CAF Champions League game. We will continue with the rotation of the squad. I feel we have a strong enough squad to win the game on Wednesday,"
The players
"Gaxa and Nkosi did not travel to the DRC for a variety of reasons. Gaxa will make a possible come back to the team while Nkosi will definitely be back in the fold,"
The factors
"This is our home game and we will use that to go all the way in the tournament. The lads that need game time must step up and use this opportunity to raise their hands,"
FC Buffalo
"We don't know much about them but we have done some homework on them to help us in our planning and also during the game. It is another massive game for us. We will treat them with due respect but also make sure that they feel that they're playing against the defending Champions,"
The Eastern Cape side has already earned its stripes in the Nedbank Cup by being the last SAFA Second Division team remaining in the competition.
