Playoffs
Kaizer Chiefs (SA) vs ASEC Mimosas of Cote d'Ivoire
Sunday, 20th April 2014
Dobsonville Stadium
Kickoff 15:00
Kaizer Chiefs will be looking at advancing to the group stages of the Confederation Cup when they take on ASEC Mimosas of Ivory Coast in the 1st leg of the Playoff stage of the CAF competition.
Coach Baxter hinted that he will continue with the rotation of his squad in order to remain competitive and keep with culture of winning of the Club:
The approach:
"We will go in this one in the same way as we have been doing in the past months. Our aim remains intact, we go in each and every game to win. In any game that we play we want to be competitive,"
The preparations:
"We have prepared with the limited time we have since our last game on Wednesday. If you look at the teamsm like Chelsea (English Premiership Team) they have faced similar situations in their league but Mourhino (Jose) said they have to go on with competing in each and every game they play,"
The players:
"Kgotso (Moleko) is still ruled out with an ankle injury. He is not far off from returning. Knowledge (Musona) continues to be doubtful and will have to pass a late fitness test again. All in all we have a pool of players to choose a strong side against Mimosas."
The much-anticipated clash will take place at Dobsonville Stadium, in Soweto on Easter Sunday, 20th of April 2014. Tickets are R40 for adults and CHILDREN under12 are at R10. TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE at COMPUTICKET/SHOPRITE CHECKERS.
The gates will open at 12:00 and kickoff is billed for 15:00.
