The charged Glamour Boys welcome bruised AmaZulu in an anticipated Absa Premiership clash scheduled for Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Wednesday, 02 December 2009, kick off is at 19h30.

Chiefs go to Loftus following an inspiring 3-0 win against Students, Bidvest Wits University on Sunday while AmaZulu lost their last league clash to neighbours, Maritzburg United on the same day.

The Soweto giants are fifth on the log with 28 points and are only 10 points behind log leaders, SuperSport who missed a chance of opening the gap following a 1 all draw to Ajax Cape Town on Tuesday, 01 December 2009.

On the other side AmaZulu are lying in 13th place and they will be coming to this game hoping to revenge the 3-1 drubbing they suffered against Chiefs at home earlier this season.

Chiefs have an edge in this fixture having won a total of 24 games, while 10 was drawn with AmaZulu on managing to beat the Glamour Boys seven times in 41 league matches that have been played since 1985.

Last season at Loftus, Chiefs scored three past AmaZulu without reply on an afternoon David Mathebula was in a mesmerizing form and the coach will be hoping that his charges dish the same form they showed in their last fixture against Bidvest Wits on Sunday.

Chiefs have also been boosted by the return of young defender, Lawrence Molekwane who was given compassionate leave last week following the sudden passing of his grandmother. The player resumed training with his teammates on Monday morning.
