Kick off for this game at the refurbished Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace is at 19h30.
Vladimir Vermezovic believes that the team will have to do something special to lift the team out of the ‘unfamiliar position’ in the log.
“It was disappointing to lose the way we lost against Maritzburg United on Saturday. I believe that the guys should have done better but that to us is water under the bridge,” he said.
Chiefs have only registered one win against AmaZulu away and Vladimir believes that maybe the Club will collect some points today as they will be playing away from home.
“We are going to this game without Josta Dladla and Abia Nale who are both not ready to play due to injuries. It does look like though it is easy at this stage for us to win away as compared to at home. There is a huge pressure on everyone at this point in time and hopefully we can come back with the positive result against Platinum Stars,” he said.
Stars under the tutelage of Steve Kompela have six points, two ahead of their visitors on Tuesday evening.
“We have information on our opponents and we will have to wait and see what happens on Tuesday night. Our fans should be patient with the boys I am still confident that we are going to turn the corner,” he concluded.
The Glamour Boys won the last time the two teams met at Olen Park, Potchestroom with Siphiwe Tshabalala scoring a goal that was voted as the “Goal of the Season’ during the Club’s awards back in May.
David Mathebula was also on the score-sheet on that afternoon as the Amakhosi gave Stars a 2-0 drubbing in front of their home fans while the first round fixture ended in a 2 all draw.
