CAF Champions League

Kaizer Chiefs 4 - 0 Liga Desportiva Muçulmana de Maputo

"The lads did a good and professional job. We had seen the Mozambique playing in CHAN tournament. We knew that if we had a bad day they could upset us," these were Coach Baxter's words after Chiefs beat the Mozambicans.

"I was pleased with our lads, the approach of the game was good. I was also pleased by the fact that we kept going to them even when the score was 2 - 0," Baxter was singing praises to his Team after they displayed a scintillating form on Saturday.

"Going to Maputo next week we will continue with the rotation system. Katsande picked up a second yellow card and Khune injured his ankle during the warmup in this game, both will probably force us into a natural rotation of the Team," said Baxter.

"When we rotate the Team, we do that with utmost respect to the opponent and also, we apply the rotation in a calculated manner. Anyone who's been in this game long enough will know the opponent on his home turf is dangerous. If we concede a goal against them, they will have to work hard for it," continued Baxter.

"We gave them respect going into this game and we will do the same in the 2nd leg. We do that with all our opponents. What we can do at home, surely they can do the same in their backyard," commented Baxter.
