Bidvest Wits 0 - 0 Kaizer Chiefs
Kaizer Chiefs will have to wait another game to get their title hopes back on track again. The Amakhosi visited Bidvest Wits on Wednesday night aiming at for 3-points, and it was not to be on the night that Coach Baxter described as, "a very tight game, a very competitive game, a very good game of football for the crowd and viewers at home. It was a good advertisement for South African football," Baxter said after the 0 - 0 stalemate.
How do you sum up the proceedings here tonight,
"To be fair, it could have gone either way. On a good night we could have won by a couple of goals, on a bad one we could have lost it."
Another night of missing the chances from your side,
"We are creating chances, just not taking them. Whether it's the pressure, the surface, the technique of the player I don't know, it could be a bit of everything."
Is this a setback in your title race?
"We would have liked three points but we will take one, it could be the difference between winning it."
Sundowns on pole position?
"Sundowns still have to win their games as well. If they win their games and get the most points, I will be the first one to congratulate them."
How will this result affect your Team moving forward?
"We know it's not easy, we know how it feels to be so close."
Baxter praised his Team for a gutsy performance and said his Team will continue to work harder until the last game of the season.
Coach Baxter also revealed that Knowledge Musona will be out for the rest of this season.
