The Soweto-born midfielder played in all three group stages games during the tournament and he feels now people recognize him more. ‘Yeye’ was speaking to Yusuf Muhammad in the latest edition of Amakhosi magazine on sale countrywide.
“Previously I could move around undetected. These days whenever I am out and about people call out to me. The tournament did change my life in many good ways,” he said.
‘Yeye’ who was again at his best on Wednesday night against Moroka Swallows at Dobsonville Stadium believes that the team is good enough to win the league title this season, “We know we do and we also know that our team has the experience to take on any challenge. There are great players in this squad and without naming anyone in particular,we have good individual players who play well together,”
“The senior players in the team play an important role in guiding the younger ones. Together we can do well and ensure that we meet our targeted goals. Amongst those are to win the league,” concluded Letsholonyane.
