Siboniso Gaxa, one of the long-time serving members of Bafana Bafana has congratulated the squad for their win against Spain.

“It is good to make the Nation happy. The youngsters have shown what they can do. The win is good for the profiles of the individual players and the Nation,” said Pa.

Pa was rested last Saturday when the Amakhosi walloped Botswana’s Mochudi Centre Chiefs 3 – 0 in a friendly match.

“There is a need to give the other players some game time. We have many games to play in the season. In December we have back to back games coming and it is important to juggle the players around so that everybody must be ready to play when called upon. I didn’t rest as such; I continued to work hard in the gym. I have to keep my shape at all times,” said the Kaizer Chiefs fullback.

Kaizer Chiefs take on Platinum Stars this Saturday, 23 November 2013. The TKO Semi-final game will be played at the FNB Stadium. Kickoff is at 20:15.

“It is a big game for both teams. This group of players always work hard and we try our best to win games. On Saturday it will depend on who is more hungry and I think we are.

"It's going to be tough for both teams but I hope we come away with a win. If we don’t win on Saturday, there is no second chance. We will go all out against Platinum Stars. They are a good side. They knock the ball around very well but Platinum Stars do concede goals. We are working on how we will attack them.

"When you watch the best players in the world, you see them playing on the same level consistently,” commented Gaxa, speaking to Media at the TKO Media Open Day held at the Chiefs HQ on Wednesday.

Gaxa has been capped 54 times in the National Team colours.

Tickets are available at Computicket and Shoprite Checkers countrywide at R40 for adults and R10 for children under the age of 12.
