"They gave us a scare last time we played them," Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter refers to beating Lidoda Duvha 1-0 in a first round match in the 2014 Nedbank Cup. "We played against teams that are resurgent before, and we will not treat Leopards any differently.”

Amakhosi and Black Leopards will meet in the Nedbank Cup for the second successive year when they negotiate a passage to the quarterfinals.

"A few of our players have had a tough past few weeks. That’s why we will give some of the others a chance," Baxter says, while giving a hint about his selection ahead of this mouth-watering clash. "Also, we have the suspensions of Siboniso Gaxa and Tsepo Masilela."

Both are suspended due to the accumulation of four yellow cards. Chiefs will welcome back Willard Katsande after he served a one match ban for having collected bookings as well.

"Bernard Parker picked up a knock in the Moroka Swallows match and we will decide after a late fitness test," Baxter comments.

"Leopards are a good team and they have a good coach. They think they don't have pressure, because they are seen as the underdogs. However, with us, we are under pressure all the time.”

"Teams all over the world have succumbed to lower divisions sides before, but we will approach this match professionally as we have been doing continuously," concludes Baxter with confidence.

Chiefs boast a hundred percent record over Leopards in Cup competitions. Amakhosi earned their place in this year’s Nedbank Cup Last 16 thanks to a 4-0 win over lower league side Edu Sports.

In his tenure as Chiefs coach, Baxter has also seen off another NFD side, Garankuwa United, in the same competition.

The match is scheduled to take place at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, 21 March, kick-off at 17:30.

Tickets for the match are sold at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets nationwide. Ticket prices range from R40 to R80 and R10 for children under the age of 12. There will be tickets sold at the stadium, at gate K and E.
