Kaizer Chiefs is taking on Polokwane City in the TKO Last 16 fixture this Saturday, 5 October 2013.

The game takes place where most have described as 'home away from home' for Chiefs as Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane serves as the alternative home venue for the Amakhosi.

Coach Baxter had a few words to share ahead of the tricky affair;

"We don't know the word complacency at Chiefs. We take each and every game seriously. Chiefs is always under pressure to do well and that is what we have to work on in order to play our normal game. The Team is looking sharp after a weekend rest but obviously the 'stop start' has its own disadvantages.

Siphiwe Tshabalala is out of this one due to an Abductor muscle injury. I hoped he would be ready for this one but I am informed he needs more days to recover. It will be a blow to our plans, but situations like this always give another player a chance to come on and step up to the challenge."

The Amakhosi have previously played against Polokwane City then still campaigning in the NFD. Chiefs beat City 2-0 in the Nedbank Cup encounter last season.

"We are not thinking about the previous results. Saturday will be a new day and a new ball game will be played. They have been promoted and a lot has changed since we last played them. So, we are just focusing on our plans ahead of this particular game."

The Amakhosi were humbled 3-2 by Bidvest Wits last season in the same stage of the competition and will be looking to advance to the next round.

Kickoff for the game is at 20:15.
