Eric Mathoho revealed on Thursday that he and his teammates are hungry for more wins following their comprehensive victory against Golden Arrows on Tuesday, 6 November.
The Polokwane born defender who was voted as ‘Man of the Match’ at the end of the match was faultless at the back inspiring the Glamour Boys to yet another clean sheet.
Affectionately known in football circles as ‘Tower’ he told kaizerchiefs.com, “Credit should go to each and every one in the team. I did not do it alone; we won the game as a team.
The most important thing for us going into the game was to return back to winning ways. We are now hungrier for success and we hope to continue when we meet SuperSport United on Saturday,”
Mathoho also felt it was special to win the ‘Man of the Match’ award in front of his home fans; “My family members were there at the stadium to support me. They were proud of me after the game. They have always been very supportive and I am always grateful for their support and it was a special feeling to win the game in my hometown.
The Glamour Boys will visit SuperSport United on Saturday, 10 November and Mathoho is aware that it will not be an easy encounter; “All the games in the Premiership are tough and they don’t come tougher than SuperSport United.
We are focusing on goals though and we need to make sure that we follow our game plan. Winning can be a habit and after tasting victory on Tuesday I want to win again on Saturday,” added Mathoho.
