“Simphiwe Mtsweni has undergone surgery to his foot last Friday,” continued the medical report. Mtsweni is expected to be out for six weeks. Mtsweni’s injury has resulted in a delay to his loan move as was earlier announced.
Daniel Cardoso has started running on the treadmill and is expected back in action in September. Cardoso arrived from Free State Stars this season nursing an injury.
Lucky Baloyi was injured in one of the preseason training matches. Baloyi has started running and will be back in three weeks’ time.
