This will ensure that valid match ticket holders are transported to the stadiums cheaply and safely in order to ensure a pleasurable match day experience.
Jacques Grobbelaar, Executive Chairman and CEO of Stadium Management South Africa elaborates on the partnership;
“Together with the local Taxi Association we aim to provide up to 100 taxi’s in operation on any given match day under our care. I have no doubt that our partnership will be a success and I’m grateful to the local Taxi Association for coming on board and paving the way for an efficient game day experience. I’m confident that this initiative will change the lives of many fans and encourage more soccer-starved supporters to attend matches. I urge all supporters to note that you will only be allowed on the taxi should you have a valid match ticket.”
Stadium Management South Africa has also committed to ensuring that the taxi service will extend to other matches held at the Soccer City Complex.
