The first round encounter between these two ended with Chiefs
humbled 3-1 in their own backyard last December.
Both these teams are fresh from thrilling wins, with United
having slammed neighbours Sundowns 4-1 last week while Chiefs
humiliated Moroka Swallows 5-1 midweek.
United look unstoppable while Chiefs have made a resurrection
and they will be hoping that talented midfielder Jabu Pule does not
pick up any injuries during national duty because on his day, he
can destroy United.
And United head coach Pitso Mosimane is well-aware of this.
"We expect lots of goals and people because these kind of games
market themselves. Pule and (Arthur) Zwane are giving us sleepless
nights and we'll be keeping a close eye on them. When they're in
form, they will torment you," said Mosimane.
Mosimane said they would try and tighten their defence and
convert more of the chances which they create.
United will welcome back veteran midfielder John Moeti.
Chiefs manager Bobby Motaung said they were not concerned about
avenging the first round score.
"There is nothing special about this game because we are not in
contention for the title. The good thing is we are now converting
our chances.
"We have made arrangements with Safa to have Pule and Nzama
transported to Mmabatho in time for the game."
Elsewhere, rejuvenated Hellenic will hope for a repeat of the
performance which saw them beat Sundowns 3-0 when they travel to
Charles Mopeli Stadium for a clash against Free State Stars on
Saturday.
