"Playing away in CAF fixtures is nothing more than playing away from home. At this stage of the Champions League travelling is same distance as flying to Cape Town or travelling by bus to Polokwane," said Tefu 'Masha' Mashamaite ahead of the Amakhosi's away 2nd Leg of the 1st Round of CAF Champions League.

The Amakhosi will be on a mission to advance to the next stage of the competition at the expense of Liga Desportiva Muçulmana de Maputo (Mozambique). The Amakhosi are leading 4 - 0 from the 1st Leg played last weekend in Durban.

"We need to avoid complacency at all cost. We must stay on our toes and focus on consolidating our 4 - 0 lead against the opponent," commented 'Masha'.

Chiefs are the current ABSA Premiership log leaders and are also in the Last 16 of the Nedbank Cup. 'Masha' poured cold water on the talk of divided attention facing the Glamour Boys.

"This talk of pressure is a mere mental projection created by the media. At the end of the day each and every game is played for 90 minutes and it is 11 against 11 in the field of play. I and my teammates don't subscribe to that notion, we play each game as it comes," said 'Masha' with supreme confidence.

Playing in a game where you lead your opponents by 4 - 0, surely that must be a done deal? kaizerchiefs.com asked 'Masha'.

"Not at all," responded 'Masha without any hesitation.

"In each and every game we play, trailing or leading in a game we push forward for more goals. We take this lead as half time score. We can't take a chance, Muçulmana will be playing in their backyard, which makes them dangerous. They will not use the same strategy they used in Durban. We will play as we do in all competitions until the fat lady sings," continued 'Masha'.

On the progress of the Team thus far in all competitions, 'Masha' said, "We do not have time to take stock. We take each game at the time. For an example we only realised we were on the verge of a record wins in the league when we had won about 8 games already, and there was hype about it in the media. We focus in our next game,"

The game will be played on Saturday 8 March 2014, kickoff is at 18:00.

The venue is Estadio Nacional do Zimpeto National Stadium in Maputo and tickets will be sold on match day at the stadium at a price of 100 metacals or R40.
