“We’ve got to do more if we are to be counted at the end of the season. We allowed them (Orlando Pirates) to dictate terms especially in the second half where we did not even have a single shot at goal,”
“We were under pressure for the most of the second half and we were bound to crack at some stage. Football is like that sometimes, but as I said before the game that the league will not be decided on this game. There are more games in front of us starting with Vasco Da Gama on Tuesday,”
The Glamour Boys were back in training on Monday in preparation for the game against Vasco Da Gama, “The Soweto Derby is now history. It is very important for us to start picking up points again in order to keep in touch with the rest of the chasing pack. I have spoken to the players and we are all ready for the next challenge,” added Vermezovic.
Kick off for the game to be played at Athlone Stadium on Tuesday, 01 March 2011 is at 19:30.
