Kaizer Chiefs returned to winning ways on Wednesday evening sending Bloemfontein crushing thanks to goals from local boy, Lucky Baloyi and Lehlohonolo Majoro.

However Head Coach, Vladimir Vermezovic who was ‘pleased’ with the win expressed his concern about the failure of his charges to ‘kill opponents’.

“I am delighted that we bounce back this evening following a defeat by Orlando Pirates last Saturday. I am pleased for the players and I would like to congratulate them,” said the Serbian after the game.

“I am worried though that we did not score more goals in this game. At times we missed opportunities when it looked easier to score than to miss. I also discussed this with my colleague (Clinton Larsen).

“There is nothing wrong giving your opponents six or seven if the situation allows. Opponents respect you when you score more goals against them.

“We had a great opportunity to do that this evening. We will keep working on this,” said VV jokingly adding that the team is going to use the weekend to ‘just kick the ball to an empty net’

Vermezovic also expressed his disappointment after referee Daniel Bennet issued cautioned goalkeeper, Thabang Stemmer when he denied Siphiwe Tshabalala a goal late in the second half.

“I am learning everything new with each game. That was not a foul as the goalkeeper used his hand outside the box so it was supposed to be a straight red,” added Vermezovic.
