The Carling Black Label Champion Cup match between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates is sold out. However, especially for Amakhosi supporters, a huge TV screen will be erected to watch the Soweto Derby in Wonderpark, a shopping centre in Pretoria North.
“It promises to be an electrifying atmosphere,” enthuses Chiefs’ KC Mobile Portfolio Manager, Bafana Sibiya. “There will also be a special VIP area, where KC Mobile prize winners will win access to.”
Chiefs will start the activation in Wonderpark on Friday, 27 July, from 12:00 until 17:00, and it will continue the following day, from 10:00 to 13:00, after which all attention will focus on getting ready for the Soweto Derby.
Tickets can be won for the VIP area for Saturday’s clash by connecting to a KC Mobile starter pack and, accordingly, recharge for R22 or more. About 40 KC Mobile subscribers will be catered for and will watch the Carling Black Label Cup match on a massive high quality HD screen.
There will also be a KC Retail outlet where all the latest merchandise can be bought, like the new home and away jersey. Besides this, there will be music and numerous other entertainment, including a GigRig and our famous Kaizer Chiefs MC, Vuyo.
The Wonderpark shopping centre is situated on Rachel de Beer street in Pretoria North and it’s next to the food court. Numerous supporters will be able to win caps, new jerseys or a surprise hamper.
It all means that Kaizer Chiefs supporters who didn’t manage to get tickets for the Soweto Derby can still enjoy the game with their friends and other fans.
“It will really be a great experience,” promises Sibiya. “Please all come to Wonderpark on Friday and on Saturday for some fun and games, while watching as well the Carling Black Label Cup match, which kicks off on 15:30.”
