"We have played three consecutive drawn matches at home, but we have also won away games in between," Stuart Baxter indicates a healthy running track record after Chiefs' final training session here, in Polokwane.

Kaizer Chiefs will look to return to winning form at home in the Absa Premiership when they host Chippa United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday, 13 December 2014.

(Kick-off at 18h00).

"We are in the period where we don't do a lot of work," laments Baxter. "That's the way it is. Our main work is to keep the team focused and pick the right team for the match."

Chiefs played to a draw when they were held 2-2 by Platinum Stars in midweek.

"We are not too much concerned about the home draws," says Baxter. "We have picked up points in our last three games. That's what matters."

Chiefs have claimed 15 points from seven home matches this season.

The Amakhosi are placed first on the Absa Premiership log with 37 points from 15 matches.

"We are not looking at the log and panicking . We are not counting the points and checking the gap in the log," Baxter. "If you worry about the number of points and the gap in the lead, that can send you on a panic mode, and that's not how we would like to do."

The Chilli Boys are placed sixth on the Absa Premiership log with 21 points from 14 matches.

"Chippa have done very well this season. They have nothing to lose coming to us," Baxter is aware of the danger of the opposition that has just returned to the top league this season.

"They will be coming to us knowing they have a chance given their recent performances."

In head-to-head stats, Chiefs and Chippa have met in just two league matches since 2012.

Both of those encounters took place in the 2012/13 season, with the Amakhosi winning 2-0 both home and away to complete a league ‘double’ over the Chilli Boys.

"I have almost a full squad to select the team," concludes Baxter. "Kgotso Moleko is the only player recovering from injury."
