Referee, Daniel Bennett decided to postpone the long awaited, MTN 8 Wafa Wafa final after the pitch was declared 'unplayable' due to the pouring rain and being waterlogged.
The final will now be played on Tuesday, 23 September at ABSA Stadium. Kick off for the game is at 20h15. This was confirmed by the Cup Committee.
"We remain focused to the game and the change in dates will not disturb us," said the tough tackling defender, Mokete Tsotetsi ahead of Monday morning training session.
"Yes, we wanted to play the game on Saturday as scheduled but then it was moved due to circumstances beyond our control. We resumed our preparations for the final on Sunday and everything is going well," he said.
Kaizer Chiefs defence has conceded at total of five goals in two games and that might be worrying going into the final against a Club that is armed with firepower upfront.
"They have quality players up front, they are not only good but they can finish. This means as a defence we will have to be at our best in dealing with them," he said.
Bianno added, "We are confident of lifting the trophy come Tuesday night. We see the final as opportunity to redeem ourselves."
