“I have had a week to train and get to know the new Chiefs players well, I want to congratulate them for joining us and wish them well.
Bringing the kind of players with the experience and quality that they have into the team in the off season shows that we have the will and desire to well in the coming season” divulged a fired up Tshabalala.
Who then said, ”That coupled with two things the fact that we still have the core of the team from last season and the work being put in over the last ten days by the entire squad, players and coaching staff demonstrates that we not slouching around and that we are serious about doing well in the coming campaign.”
Shabba as the dreadlocked winger has come to be known amongst his teams is glad that Chiefs have gotten down to hard work well in advance of the new season, as he holds the view that the coming campaign will be a challenging one.
“We all aware of what is expected from us this coming season, we know that it is going to be a tough one maybe even tougher than the last one.
"The good thing is that we understand that and are putting in the ground work in preparation for that, like I have said we are an ambitious team and we will be ready by the time the season start to face any challenge that comes our way.”
For the mean time Shabba is concentrating on getting into peak physical shape and is focused on ensuring that he does so in the pre-season.
“Sorry I need to get back to training” he said to kaizerchiefs.com, before sprinting off he further added, “it has been a challenging programme at the High Performance Centre but this is where we do all the work as we try to fulfil our goals in the coming season.”
