The Glamour Boys welcome Free State Stars at Loftus Stadium in their last league fixture of the season. Kick off is at 3:30pm.
Despite Chiefs securing a third sport in the Absa Premiership, Masenamela believes that they still need to go out and win against Free State Stars.
“A win against Free State Stars is very important for us as we need to carry this momentum to our Telkom Knockout game against Santos. Having not achieved our dream to win the league, winning the next game is crucial for us,” said Punch.
“We are going to give it our all to bring all the available points to Naturena. We will try and attack Free State Stars from the first minute. This season has showed that if we score first we settle quicker and start playing our normal game,” he said.
Masenamela, who has occupied the left-back position following an injury to Jimmy Jambo, has also told kaizerchiefs.com that he is working hard in improving his ‘final ball’.
“I do well going up but I have got to work on my final ball. However my priority is still to defend. You might have noticed that opposition wingers in the past two games have not been able to make many crosses at dangerous areas, and this is something myself and Jimmy work on every day at training. I am grateful to work with the Coach (Vladimir Vermezovic), who has been very encouraging, and I think I am improving game by game.”
