Kaizer Chiefs will be travelling to Rustenburg on Wednesday, 12 March 2014, to play against Platinum Stars in the Absa Premiership fixture.

Pa Gaxa expressed cautiously optimistic views looking ahead to the much anticipated clash at Royal Bafokeng Sports Complex;

"Playing in different competitions is not a problem. Each game is a different ball game. Playing against Platinum Stars is not going to be easy. They are a tough side, the game is going to be tough for both teams. For us is a matter of shifting gears after playing the last game in CAF Champions League in the past weekend," said Pa.

"Stars gave us trouble especially last season when we were fighting for the league. For us it is all a matter of one game at a time. Teams want to beat us, some want to prove a point while others simply want to reach their goals for the season," commented Pa.

"At the moment we have put ourselves where we are and we are enjoying the moment. We worked hard to get to the top and we will continue to work hard in order to stay on top of the league till the end of the season," continued Pa.

"The next two months will be tough for everyone. As I said, we have put ourselves in this position. We have not lost a game for quite some time now. We got in this position by hard work," said Pa.

"As for Platinum Stars, first they have done well this season. The have won two trophies and we are still in with a chance to win the remaining two domestic competitions. This will be a big game for them. This will be a game of two ambitious teams, but our focus is on Chiefs," said Pa.

"We lost against them in the Telkom Knockout Cup this season. We were still recovering from the success of last season. After that loss we picked up the tempo and got back to our momentum. We have not looked back since then. This time we are a different Team, physically and it will be different this time around," continued Pa.

"The next game is what matters at Chiefs. We are looking at one game at a time. We will not look over Platinum Stars to think about the weekend Derby, no, we will fight for the three points on Wednesday as we will do the same on the weekend," said Pa with supreme confidence.

The kickoff for game on Wednesday evening is at 19:30.
