Stars have already descended to our shores with more reportedly arriving tomorrow to attend this momentous occasion.
“I believe the draw finally buries all the previous unfortunate and derogatory statements that scorned our earlier attempts of hosting the event to further reinforce that 2010 is indeed happening in our shores,” wrote the emotional Club’s Executive Chairman and the member of South African Local Organizing Committee, Kaizer Motaung on Thursday afternoon.
The draw is a dream comes true for the Soweto born who despite his obvious talent never had an opportunity to play at what is pinnacle of any footballer. He will however be satisfied that together with all those who have been in the forefront as far as bringing the World Cup in South Africa they have showed that indeed South Africa is a ‘country with possibilities’.
“Our Stadia are ready, travel, hospitality logistics are in place and we have tirelessly worked to fulfill our dreams of welcoming the world,”
