Bidvest Wits vs Kaizer Chiefs
Wednesday, 23 April 2014
Bidvest Stadium
Kickoff 19:30
George Maluleka told kaizerchiefs.com that he and his teammates are ready to take on Bidvest Wits even though the season has been tough. "We are looking forward to do our best on Wednesday night," said Maluleka.
"Wits will want to win as well, so we really have to dig deep to get a result against them. We are coming from a big and good win last week. Our confidence was boosted and our moral was lifted in the league," said Maluleka who bagged his first Man of the Match award in Chiefs colours during Chiefs' win against Polokwane City last week.
"We are used to pressure. I think we need to go out and play our normal football and in that way we will be able to get the desired result. There's no need to put ourselves under pressure. We can only win the games when the Team plays well," commented Maluleka.
"The league race is always going to be at the back of our minds but the Coach has taught us to mainly focus on the upcoming game and take it one step at a time," said Maluleka who netted his first goal in Chiefs colours in the Polokwane City win last week.
"Personally and as a Team we want to do our best in every game we play and compete harder. The more the team works the more we can achieve," added Maluleka
