Captain Itumeleng Khune told kaizerchiefs.com that he and his teammates are ready to play their first 2014 CAF Champions League game on Saturday.

"As hosts we are looking forward to the game. It is a big game and most importantly we want to avoid conceding a goal. We are ready to go out and play to the best of our ability," said Khune.

"We have experience of traveling to African countries with the National Team. Playing away will be tougher than playing at home. On Saturday we must use our home ground advantage and win the game," said Khune with confidence.

"We appeal to the Amakhosi faithful to rally behind the Team as they always do. They give us an advantage as the 12th man on the stands. We are enjoying a good run in the domestic league and the supporters have been turning out in large numbers and we also ask for the huge turn out on Saturday night," said Khune.

The game kickoff is at 20:00. The gates will be opened at 17:00. Tickets are available at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets nationwide at a cost of R40.
