AS Vita Club vs Kaizer Chiefs

(RD Congo) Tata Raphael Stadium

Willard Katsande was upbeat when the Team left OR Tambo International Airport heading to Kinshasa, Republic of Democratic Congo for a CAF assignment against AS Vita Club.

How do you feel about the trip to Kinshasa?

"As you can see we are all good and looking forward to the match on Sunday. The preparations have gone well. We are all focused on the task ahead of us,"

How do you approach a CAF game away from home?

"Playing away in this tournament is difficult. We have to switch on all the time. If you switch off in these games you can be punished, but all of our players are of international standard.

We know what is expected from us in this game,"

What do you know about RDC football?

"We all know that their league is not bad. If you look at the performance of TP Mazembe in the Champions league, you realise how competitive they are. My Zimbabwean countrymen told me AS Vita Club is also a good team,"

What's your ambition in this tournament?

"We share the same aim as a Team, that's all about winning as a Team. As individuals we work hard to contribute to the success of Kaizer Chiefs. We are following the Coach's game plan to help the Club achieve it's objectives of Living the African Dream,"

The Amakhosi will be looking to advance to the group stage of CAF Champions League, at the expense of AS Vita Club.
