Lorenzo Gordinho has expressed satisfaction at his Team and individual performances during the 2013/14 season.

Gordinho is one of the players who were promoted to the First Team this season and kaizerchiefs.com spoke to Gordinho ahead of the offseason,

How was the 2013/14 PSL season in general?

"I thought the season in general was greatly contested. There was never a favourite team to win the league until the last few round of games which shows how competitive it was. The league ended with us breathing heavily on the neck of the Champions," said Gordinho.

How did your Team do this season?

"I thought we did our best to finish in second position. We should be proud even though we wished to give our supporters something to show for the support they have given the Team throughout the year. We have no regrets knowing we gave it our all to win every game we played," said Gordinho.

Looking at your individual performances - how do you feel about that?

"I am satisfied with my performances and feel that I have grown as a player. I can't wait for next season to progress in my career and establish myself further in the Team. I want to help the Team to achieve silverware next season," commented Gordinho.

It's Brazil World Cup time, which country do you fancy to do well?

"I tip Brazil with the quality of players they have. They should win the World Cup even though it will not be easy," said Gordinho.

What will you be doing during the offseason?

"I'm going to spend most of my time with family and friends. I will be working hard to prepare myself for next season," said Gordinho.

Gordinho made five appearances in his first season for Chiefs.
