Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has vowed that they will compete against Black Leopards in the upcoming Nedbank Cup Last 16 clash with the aim to win and advance to the quarterfinals. "We have to beat Leopards.”



The goalie was speaking at the Nedbank Cup Media Open Day, which was held at the Village ahead of Saturday's much anticipated Last 16 match.



"It's an important game for us,” Khune adds, before talking briefly about Wednesday’s 3-0 win over Moroka Swallows. “We have done ourselves proud by winning the derby last night.”



"We are proud about our league standing at this stage. We want to do well in all competitions.”



Chiefs is presently involved the league, the Nedbank Cup and the CAF Champions League.



“They are flying under their coach Zeca Marques,” says Khune about Leopards which presently occupies the sixth position in the National First Division. “We are meeting a motivated Black Leopards side. Their coach is seasoned and he knows us well. They will want to cause an upset."



"We have to win and to do that we have to stick to the basics and what we do best," Khune concludes.



The match is scheduled to take place at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, 21 March (kick-off at 17:30).



Tickets are sold at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers at R80 for the grandstand, R40 for Open stand and R10 for children under the age of 12.
