Goalkeeper and Captain, Itumeleng 'Spider' Khune has said that he and his teammates knows what is expected of them ahead of a potential explosive 'Soweto Derby' against Moroka Swallows at Dobsonville Stadium on Saturday, 20 April 2013.

Kickoff for the game is at 18h00.

Kaizer Chiefs Captain was addressing the media alongside his Coach, Stuart Baxter at PSL headquarters in Parktown, Johannesburg.

The Glamour Boys go to the Absa Premiership clash four points ahead of Platinum Stars who are on 48 points.

"It is a 'Soweto Derby' and we are playing Moroka Swallows on their own backyard in Dobsonville. They will come out firing so their midweek result against Chippa United will mean nothing."

"We know what is expected of us as professionals especially wearing the gold and black in such a massive game."

"The Management and the Technical Team has done a sterling job this season in creating an environment for us as players to do our job. We have to go out and fight for maximum points."

Khune also spoke highly of the Captain's Committee that has kept things intact this season.

"We always meet as the Captains Committee at the Village after training to discuss the progress of the team even if we are winning games."

"We had to sit down again just before our cup game against Celtic last week. We discussed the importance of the game and that the result against them two weeks before was 'water under the bridge' ".

"We are sending the same message to our teammates about the 'Soweto Derby' on Saturday. We beat Swallows (3-2) in the first round but the job is not complete and we will need to be at our best to come back with maximum points."

"Hero among Heroes"; reacted Khune following the commendation remarks that the "White Head" made about him on Lesedi FM during his 80th birthday interview.

"Ntate Molemela has given so much to football and to be singled out by him is an honour I can't put into words. I would like to wish him all the best as he celebrates his 80th birthday this week," added Spider.
