Ardent supporter Thulani Ngcobo and his fellow Khosis were at the Kaizer Chiefs and Vodacom Roadshow held at Pretoria’s Sammy Marks Square on Friday afternoon.

“It means a lot to see our favourite club coming to our city,” said Ngcobo. “We don't see this too often in our area and am excited to also see the players.”

Hendrick Ekstein, William Twala, Ryan Moon and Siyanda Xulu were at the roadshow, meeting and greeting the enthusiastic Tshwane supporters.

“These mobile shops are convenient,” Ngcobo adds, while pointing at the array of Chiefs offerings on display - KC Insurance, KC Mobile and KC Retail.

“The vibe is really great, it hypes up the supporters,” continued Ngcobo. “I wish to see Chiefs do this more regularly in Pretoria.”

Another fervent Amakhosi, Duncan Shingange, sounded optimistic about Saturday’s clash against Tshwane-based Mamelodi Sundowns. “I am not afraid of Sundowns. We are ready. We even need to widen the points gap, Sundowns must not catch-up because they are far behind us on the league table.”

Supporter Joyce Khoza bought some Kaizer Chiefs authentic merchandise. “I’m glad the store is here right on our door step. It is easy to buy genuine stuff and it is the right thing to do.”

Vodacom Soccer Manager Rowen Gangulu expressed delight at the sight of the supporters gathering at Sammy Marks Square: “It is always a pleasure to see this kind of support. We appreciate the support and our partnership with Kaizer Chiefs.”

Amakhosi are in the capital city to play the Absa Premiership fixture against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday, 19 November, at Loftus Versfeld (kick-off is 15:30).

Match tickets are sold at TicketPro outlets at Jet, Jet Mart, CNA, Choppies, Edgars and Edgars Active. Cost of tickets is R40.
