Assistant Coach, Doctor Khumalo has challenged the team to continue with the same performance they displayed against Mamelodi Sundowns when they welcome Ajax Cape Town on Wednesday, 09 May 2012 at Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Kickoff for the game is at 19:30.

“It is very important that we remain focus on the job at hand. It was important that we turn the corner against Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday but now that is water under the bridge,” said Khumalo speaking to kaizerchiefs.comK on Friday.

“Ajax Cape Town will be even tougher than Sundowns was as they also have not been doing well in the past couple of games. We will need to be at our best to beat them. We cannot rest in our laurels just because we have won one game. We have not arrived yet.

We do not have a game this weekend but at Chiefs there is no rest and we will work throughout in preparation for the game. We have to soldier on and plan,” added Khumalo.

Chiefs remain on position six with 43 points after 27 games.
