Willard Katsande has bagged yet another accolade when he was rewarded with the Man of the Match for his fine display when the Amakhosi punished Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday night.
Katsande recorded his third Man of the Match award of the 2013/14 Season. The Zimbabwean attributed it all to a team effort and a desire to gain 3-points from the game,
"As an individual I am happy but it was all team effort. Hard work is my biggest secret. I am never satisfied and I am always hungry," said the hard tackling midfielder, Katsande.
"As a Team we are not worried about the destination, we are worried about now, the here and now is giving us sleepless nights.
We take it one game at a time," commented Katsande.
Katsande vowed that him and his teammates are prepared to defend their Nedbank Cup as well, "We need to defend our cup and so we are going to give our 100%," Katsande was referring to their Nedbank Cup Last 32 game against Black Leopards on Sunday.
"I was so happy and honoured with the armband by the Technical Team in Namibia. I would like to thank the Team for such a big honour," Katsande was Captain in the absence of Itumeleng Khune when Chiefs played Black Africa of Namibia last Saturday in the CAF Champions league fixture.
