Legend and Assistant Coach, Arthur Zwane believes that the team has put itself in a good position to win the league this season.

Zwane who won the league back to back with the Club during 2003/4/5 seasons has urged the team to show more character during the second half of the season.

“It is good for the confidence of the team that we are no. 1 going to the Xmas break. Credit should go to the players for the job well done thus far. The Coach has brought confidence into the team and one can see the way players are expressing themselves on the pitch.

“It takes character to win the Championship and this team has already shown this season that it has character to stand the test of time. There is a strong belief that we can conquer this season but then again we cannot take things lightly as other teams will be challenging us even stronger during the second half of the season.

Chiefs have managed to accumulate 35 points in 16 games and with more points coming at home; “We need to win our games at home. It is at home that we cannot afford to drop points. The teams that visit us at FNB Stadium and Peter Mokaba should leave empty handed,” continued Zwane.
